What is a home Inspection?

What is a Home Inspection?

The simple answer is that in general, a home inspection evaluates the overall condition and various components that make up a home. We inspect the major components of a home such as the roof, foundation, heating, & cooling systems, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical systems. We also inspect other various components of the homes interior and exterior as well. We unbiasedly report potential issues that we discover during the home inspection directly to the client. The home inspection provides the client with relevant unbiased information about a homes overall condition at the time of inspection. The client can then make an informed decision about the homes condition before finalizing their purchase. We believe information is power. Purchasing a home should be a happy experience and getting a home inspection should help make  your home buying experience a better one.

What a Home Inspection is NOT.

A home inspection is NOT a warranty. A home inspection is NOT meant to kill a home sale. All homes have issues. A home inspection does NOT appraise the value of a home. A home inspection is NOT going to catch every little problem that may exist in a home. Home inspectors DO NOT have X-ray vision, we cannot see hidden problems inside walls

It is VERY important to remember, all homes have issues, even new construction homes have defects.
